Total Place summit
Birmingham without boundaries was the subject of the fifth Be Birmingham summit which took place on 3rd February 2010.
Over 350 delegates from the public, private, voluntary, community and faith sectors attended our largest summit to date.
The summit examined the impact of Total Place and how Birmingham is embracing new ways of working. Birmingham is taking the lead on collaborative working, the summit looked at how we can create opportunities for partners to get involved and generate cost savings.
Delegates were given the opportunity to visit a number of pods highlighting the work of the seven Total Place pilots:
- Mental health
- Learning disabilities
- Drugs and alcohol
- Total community
- Early intervention
There was also an opportunity for delegates to share their thoughts at speakers’ corner.
